About

I am a second-year PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, where I am supervised by Chengnian Sun. Before that, I received my bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Beihang University in 2023.

I am broadly interested in topics related to software engineering and programming languages. Currently, my research primarily focuses on improving the reliability, e.g., correctness and security, of critical software systems. I develop advanced bug detection and resolution techniques to make these systems more trustworthy. More recently, with the rapid rise of LLMs and AI agents, I have expanded my interests to the intersection of SE/PL and AI. I explore how LLMs and agents can be leveraged to better address software reliability challenges. At the same time, AI systems themselves (e.g., LLM-based agents), as a new form of software, raise reliability issues that remain underexplored.
